Job Summary
Assess and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, or post-surgical needs through evidence-based therapies and personalized care plans. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, utilizing advanced manual therapy skills and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and minimize medication reliance. Create and modify fitness programs, document progress in WebPT, and collaborate with a team of two therapists and one PTA to deliver comprehensive recovery support.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia with no board actions or disciplinary measures against it
- Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in developing rigorous, effective exercise routines
- Experience using EMR software, specifically WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
