Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and establish effective treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Manage a patient case load of one client per hour, utilizing evidence-based practices to create customized regimens that improve mobility and functionality. Engage in ongoing patient education to promote strength and coordination while emphasizing non-surgical treatment options. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to monitor progress and document all services to comply with regulatory standards. Adjust treatment plans regularly based on intervention effects. This role supports diverse patients ranging from athletes to older adults within our Arlington, VA outpatient facility, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no board actions or disciplinary history.
- Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to navigate them efficiently.

- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care.
- Proven track record of successfully managing patient rehabilitation across various orthopedic conditions.
