Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians to determine individual therapy needs, then design and implement effective treatment programs targeting orthopedic rehabilitation. Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions directly to patients in the clinic while engaging in patient education to train patients and caregivers on recovery participation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes by applying evidence-based methodologies and working to meet minimum utilization goals. This full-time role involves onsite work at our outpatient office in Old Bridge, New Jersey, with regular 40-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid State License in Physical Therapy
- At least two years of experience in a relevant clinical setting
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and word processing
- A demonstrated ability to establish trusting relationships with patients
- A passion for connecting positively with individuals and fostering a sense of community
Desired Qualifications
- Additional expertise in specialized physical therapy techniques
- Manual therapy experience
- Experience working in outpatient clinical settings
- Familiarity with community engagement and outreach programs
