Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments and establish customized care plans for patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Manage a workload of up to one patient per hour using advanced manual therapy skills and evidence-based treatment techniques. Develop and adapt fitness programs to improve motion, mobility, and strength while implementing cost-effective strategies to reduce medication reliance. Document all services meticulously in WebPT and collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a contemporary 5000 square foot sports medicine center.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- A current and valid Illinois Physical Therapy License with no disciplinary actions on record
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Ability to develop effective exercise routines tailored to patient needs
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Previous hands-on experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting
- Experience in implementing innovative rehabilitation techniques
- A commitment to continuous professional development
