Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and establish individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery and sports injuries. Implement advanced therapeutic techniques, manual therapy, and exercise protocols to restore range of motion, strength, and function. Track patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation in WebPT. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and follow-up. Engage in continuous education to stay updated on evidence-based practices and support patients in developing healthy lifestyles beyond therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid state licensure for Physical Therapy, with a clean record free of board or disciplinary actions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
- Strong capabilities in developing and implementing effective exercise and rehabilitation programs.
- Experience with EMR Software, particularly WebPT, ensuring seamless documentation and patient management.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- A background in rehabilitation strategies focused on reducing reliance on medications and surgical procedures.
- Ability to design and lead fitness and wellness programs specifically for orthopedic patients.
