Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and needs while maintaining an efficient load of one patient per hour. Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance mobility and strength, minimizing pharmaceutical reliance. Customize fitness and wellness programs aligned with specific recovery goals and monitor progress by adjusting care plans and maintaining clear communication. Document all interactions and treatments in EMR systems like WebPT. Collaborate with a team of two physical therapists and one PTA to optimize outcomes for orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in Illinois
- No recorded board actions or disciplinary measures against the license
- Exceptional manual therapy skills
- Experience in designing effective exercise programs
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially WebPT
