Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals, then provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a manageable load of one client per hour. Implement effective treatment modalities focusing on pain relief and functional improvement, while developing comprehensive care plans tailored to specific rehabilitative needs. Employ manual therapy skills and exercise prescriptions to enhance mobility, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate comprehensive care. Document all interactions accurately using WebPT software and evaluate patient progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients on wellness strategies to promote long-term health outcomes. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our 5,000-square-foot facility, occasionally providing home care for post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active license as a Physical Therapist in Richmond, Virginia, with no board or disciplinary actions against it
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in creating effective exercise programs
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT for effective documentation and patient management
