Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals for orthopedic conditions. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a manageable patient load of one client per hour while implementing effective treatment modalities focusing on pain relief and functional improvement. Develop comprehensive care plans, employ manual therapy skills and exercise prescriptions, and document all interactions accurately using WebPT EMR software. Collaborate with physicians and PTAs to coordinate care, evaluate progress regularly, and educate patients on wellness strategies. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active license as a Physical Therapist in Richmond, Virginia, with no board or disciplinary actions against it
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in creating effective exercise programs
- Experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT for effective documentation and patient management
