Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on their unique needs and conditions. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols across specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine while delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions. Provide education to patients and caregivers, maintain detailed progress notes for compliance, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize outcomes. Meet minimum utilization goals and organizational objectives within a 40-hour shift Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current, valid licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer-based documentation.
- A passion for building strong relationships with patients, prioritizing empathy and effective communication.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
- Capability to manage complex cases effectively.
- Experience in developing and executing robust treatment plans across various patient demographics.
