Job Summary
Bring patients in for visits while ensuring they receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings. Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, then organize, clean, and maintain a sterile clinical area. Perform orthodontic dental assistant duties alongside sterilization and in-house retainer manufacturing tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with the team to provide an atmosphere of trust and cooperation. Complete any other tasks delegated by the orthodontist or leadership. Required Qualifications
- Dental Assistant experience
- Ontario Orthodontic Module
- Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease
- Great time management and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required
- Experience with impressions and use an iTero for digital scans
- Ordering experience
- Treat Coordination experience
- Ortho2Edge experience
