Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Proselytizing prohibited (brief note)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
