Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, or Chesterfield, MO, to provide supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. They begin on a nine-on/three-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
