Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and activities; responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. The role requires a two-person married couple, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior experience with youth; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations and housing rules as described
