Flex Houseparents live on-campus with a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation to activities, and leadership of devotions and Chapel, while managing household routines, budgeting, and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off duty cycle across multiple student homes and eventually transitions to a Placed Houseparent position with the same students. Two-person, married-couple eligibility is required; both spouses must complete individual applications. Eligible candidates are high school graduates or GED recipients, 27+ years old per spouse, with a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefits. Location: Hershey, PA (on-campus housing and meals during duty).
