Job Summary
Flex Houseparents are Full-Time roles for married couples living on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
