Job Summary
Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and structured caregiving in on-campus student homes for 8–13 students, including coordinating routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes, eventually transitioning to a stable placed houseparent assignment with a two-person, married-couple requirement. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
