Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on-campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition into a placed houseparent role within a structured, family-like environment. Responsibilities include driving, planning developmental and recreational activities, guiding students’ academic, emotional, and social development, and maintaining a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s licenses with driving-certification ability for student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to the school’s on-campus living arrangement with ongoing applications for each spouse.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
