Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students in on-campus homes; manage household routines and student schedules; administer medications; drive students to activities; plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities with students; lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting; initially support multiple student homes on a 9-on/3-off cycle and eventually transition to a fixed student-home assignment as a Placed Houseparent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Respect for campus policies including no alcohol on duty
- Must maintain clean driving record for vehicle duties
