Job Summary
Two-person married couple on-campus Flex Houseparents role in Hershey, PA, living with a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting and planning activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with option to become placed in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year marriage requirement (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to work as a two-person team in a student home
- Dependents limit (no more than three) in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- High school education or GED
