Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, coordinating daily routines, transporting students to activities, leading devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role is a two-person couples position, requiring both spouses to be legally married for at least two years and ages 27+, with on-site housing included and relocation support. Responsibilities include administering medications, planning developmental activities, driving students, ensuring student wellness, and maintaining a family-like, structured home environment while adhering to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy. The position transitions from nine days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
