Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes as Full-Time Flex Houseparents, supervising a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Working schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with total couple compensation around $168,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance options, retirement benefits, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
