Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent where the couple lives and works with the same group of students. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed student home.
