Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Liberty Hill, TX, to care for and guide a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-off schedule to aPlaced Houseparent role within the same student home. Requires two-year married status, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to lift to 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
