Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes to supervise (8–13 students), mentor, manage routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance. They oversee budgeting and reporting, with a schedule starting nine days on duty followed by three off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group. The role requires experience with youth, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration. The role offers a salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and housing/meal/perks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
