Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents residing in on-campus student homes provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial placements to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with a nine-on/three-off duty cycle, offering relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Able to become certified to drive student home vans
