Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Live on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handling budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students in their home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Complete individual employment applications for consideration by both spouses
