Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparents role for married couples living on an on-campus student home. Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel with students, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group in their own home. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (about $168,000 total per couple when including housing/meals/benefits), comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training. Qualifications include experience with youth, two-year legally married requirement for both spouses, age 27 or older for both spouses, up to three dependent children in the home, smoke-free/weapon-free campus adherence, valid U.S. driver's license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
