Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents for married couples live in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role in the same student home. Benefit package includes salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid time off, and housing/meal provisions. Must meet extensive youth-work experience, married two-year minimum, age 27+, driving eligibility, fitness to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must apply individually
- Valid U.S. drivernsLicense
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience with youth volunteer or work
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Planned transition to placed Houseparent role
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
