Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside on campus in Hershey, PA, guiding and supervising a group of ~8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed houseparent role. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; compensation is $44,768 per person (~$168,000 per couple) plus housing, meals, utilities, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pro-social religious instruction experience preferred
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
