Job Summary
Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student home. Requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years, ages 27 or older, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; model behavior for students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
