Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and support budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and culminates in transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to reside on-campus as part of a two-person married-couple team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
