Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off schedules to a stable Placed Houseparent arrangement. The role includes on-campus housing, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, experience with youth, and a legally married couple for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two years married (for consideration as a two-person couple role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel (Judeo-Christian)
- Reasonable driving ability to transport students
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
