Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and, as a two-person married couple, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a path to transition into a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; paid time off; and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of legal marriage minimum
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Two-person role for couples who are legally married
