Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, a two-person married couple living with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Must meet high school diploma or GED, two-year married status, age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; must complete individual applications for both spouses to apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse/two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Legally married for at least two years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Ability to lead devotions and attend Chapel services
