Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent couple resides on the Milton Hershey School campus, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students in a on-campus home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
