Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents (married couples) reside on campus in student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes and transitions to a placed Houseparent role with a stable student home. Compensation per person is $44,768 annually plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated experience working or volunteering with youth
