Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and facilitating developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to be certified to drive student vans.
