Job Summary
Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Work schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total couple compensation around $168,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- No more than three dependent children in student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
