Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School. A two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, and engage in developmentally-focused activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions, accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married status (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
