Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role operates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include a per-person salary of $44,768 (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance and paid training, and paid time off. Qualifications require youth-focused experience, a high school diploma or GED, two years of marriage minimum, age 27+, ability to lift 50 lbs., and a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Required Qualifications
