Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus in student homes to provide supervision, mentorship, and daily care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental activities and devotions, and budgeting/household reporting. Initially a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training. Requires high school diploma or GED, U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be age 27 or older; both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year minimum for spouses
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian church services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol while on duty
- Household management and supervision experience
- Experience with youth or volunteering with youth
- Two-person married couple requirement
- Age 27+ for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Ability to work nine days on / three days off initially
- Place in student home and transition to placed houseparent
