Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide guidance, supervise daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, manage budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule initially and later transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (about $168k total per couple with housing/benefits), relocation assistance and paid training, comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, and more. Requirements include experience with youth, being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; consent to daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services; willingness to relocate to campus in Hershey, PA, and complete separate applications for both spouses.
Required Qualifications

- Two-year minimum married status for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes
- Ability to pass background checks and screening as required
