Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus in student homes, provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions, manage household routines and budgeting, and transition to aPlaced Houseparent role. Requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years, age 27+, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to live on campus with a structured schedule (nine days on duty followed by three days off) and then ongoing placement in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions. Prior experience with youth and leadership in Judeo-Christian chapel settings preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
