Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and activities, manage routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a 9-on/3-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Requires both spouses to apply individually; must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Includes on-campus housing, meals on duty, benefits, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples; must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Commitment to a 9-on/3-off schedule initially; transition to placed houseparent
- Desire to live and work with a consistent group of students in on-campus homes
- High school diploma or GED required
