Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent role on a college-preparatory campus: married couples residing in on-campus student homes to care for 8–13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support, including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions, and supervising budgeting/reporting. The position follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule during the initial phase, with eventual placement into a single houseparent assignment with the same students, offering on-campus housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive benefits. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and Judeo-Christian chapel participation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Couples age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead students in devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Desire to provide care, supervision, mentorship to youth
