Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (Full-Time, two-person role) reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, the schedule is nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Must have experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; sexual proselytizing is prohibited. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse/two-person role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to model for students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
