Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents, living on campus in student homes and guiding 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision, mentorship, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and initially rotating among homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must apply individually and be legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
