Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students with responsibilities including daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental activities and daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The nine-on, three-off schedule transitions to a Placed Houseparent role, and relocation assistance is provided. This two-person role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and a smoke- and weapon-free campus commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
