Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent role. Compensation per person is $44,768 annually, with total compensation for the couple around $168,000 including housing and benefits. Relocation assistance and paid training provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; couples must apply individually and be legally married for at least two years. Applicants must be ages 27+ for both spouses and able to reside on campus at Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
