Job Summary
Two-person on-campus Houseparent couple responsible for supervising 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support, including administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially follow a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple student homes, with eventual placement in a single student home as a Placed Houseparent. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, willingness to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; includes on-campus housing, meals on duty, utilities, and comprehensive benefits. Location: Hershey, PA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- To be considered, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to fulfill on-campus housing duties and supervision responsibilities
